It’s 2008 and we have class of 9 - and I have to say, my most talented class ever, and only a few slackers … hehehe, just kidding … most of you are slackers … but not for long!
Are we geared up for CAMPAIGN 2008? Roll out the red carpet baby!
I will be bloggin’ here throughout Unit 3, so you all better be checking back and commenting or … I will feel like a loner ;(

ENSEMBLE PERFORMANCE PRESCRIBED STRUCTURE
Devise, script, direct and perform a 20 minute non-naturalistic ensemble performance. The performance will be assessed at the 2008 Dance and Drama Gala in May.

Performance focus
Create a non-naturalistic ensemble performance based on the theme of ‘Celebrity – the Rich, the Famous, the Notorious!’
The performance must incorporate:
- An exploration of how the media and reality television exploit peoples’ desire for fame
- An exploration of the general public’s role in elevating people to celebrity status
- An exploration of ‘consumerism’
- The tragic nature of fame illustrated by the dramatic downfall of a well-known celebrity
